The first Japanese Professional Basketball League (bj-league)
was inaugurated in November, 2005 with 6 teams (Sendai 89ERS, Niigata
Albirex BB, Saitama Broncos, Tokyo Apache, Osaka Evessa and Oita Heat
Devils) participated in the 120 games in total during the regular season.
At the end, Osaka became the first champion of the season.
For the Second season, The Toyama Grouses and the Takamatsu Five Arrows joined the league. In this season, Osaka won the finals for the second straight year.
For the third season, "bj-league" welcomed two more
expansion team, Rizing Fukuoka and Ryukyu Golden Kings. "bj-league" will
stage exciting games over the season!
For the upcoming 2008-2009 season, the bj League will
be adding the two additional expansion team which will be Shiga Lakers & Hamamatsu
Phoenix (formerly the OSG Phoenix of the JBL Superleague). With the addition
of these two teams the bj League is positioned to have an extremely competitive
basketball league for the future of basketball in Japan.
Therefore, the bj League is dedicated to expanding
its boundaries and searching for talented basketball players worldwide.
The upcoming bj League Tryout Camp will be the leagues mechanism for
evaluating potential foreign/Japanese players that feel that they have
what it takes play professionally in Japan

Station with all games to be played at the Tarkanian Basketball Academy
Registration fee= $250.00 USD per player (Hotel Fee is included in Registration Fee) - fill out registration form online. Only 150 players will be accepted.

Athletes should plan to arrive the morning of June
30, 2008 as games will begin that afternoon.
Camp will end on Thursday, July 3rd in
the afternoon.Specific times are yet to be determined. All participants
that are invited will be notified of specific times.
